Don’t you love when you are searching on Craigslist and suddenly you just happen to find the very item you’ve been looking for your whole life? Do you? Because I have no idea what’s that like. All I ever see on my local craigslist are overpriced mattresses “STILL IN PLASTIK!”
Well, Ronda found this old cane bench, which just happened to fit perfectly around the dining room table she just happened to be redoing, along with the matching set of chairs that just happened to have cane-backs too. July 1, 2011 at 2:11 AMthis happened to me today! i bought an antique dining set with 6 chairs & 2 leafs. It was $175 cheaper than a basically identical one I have inquired about and they lived 5 min away!! can’t wait to send in after pics!

July 1, 2011 at 2:55 AMNo lie. I can never find anything on Craigslist. Could be because I live in Atlanta, but all of the postings are Ghet-to-the-O. I mean all I really want to find is a nice fridge or a cute dog. Why is this too much to ask of a 5,700,000 person population?! It’s wrong, wrong & ridiculous.
I wish you well in your future craigslist pursuits, though. Maybe you’ll stumble upon something fabulous.

July 1, 2011 at 3:33 AMI understand the craigslist stuff too! I live in Wisconsin (so yea, not expecting anything too fantastic- and if I do- it’s gone already!), but I usually end up seeing a lot of “labtops” or my personal favorite “Ottermans”. Seriously. It’s craziness!

I have heard that the smoke smell is hard to impossible to get out of furniture, is that true? If so, any tips on how to get it out?
