I’m guessing this kitchen remodel from Amy at Style by Design was some sort of dismal office break-room area. I’ve come to this conclusion by gathering the hard facts, namely: the soul-crushing utilitarian vibe I feel just by looking at it, plus the telling boxes of office supplies. All it needs now is a typo-riddled sign taped to the refrigerator “You’re mom doesn’t work here! Clean up you’re mess!” and the look is complete.
But boy howdy, wouldn’t you rather heat up your Hot Pockets in that after kitchen? I know I would. That’s gotta be a boost for morale. Great work Amy! See more on her blog here.

July 28, 2011 at 11:57 AMThat’s quite an over-haul! Some nice choices but there are too many of them going on. The floor and the back splash work together but the counter is fighting with them.

August 1, 2011 at 5:23 PMLoving this kitchen, the cabinets combined with the tile work and granite are a HOME RUN! The storage/pantry on the back wall is a big plus.
Keep the great before and after picture coming. I enjoy each of your posts.
