If you have emailed me lately and haven’t heard back, I’m sorry! School’s out, I’ve got several big projects due in my real-life work, and I’m also in the midst of potty-training. (My daughter, not myself. I’ve been successfully potty-trained for quite some time now).
What I need is a quiet little office with a door that can be shut, a feature that is missing in my current office, AKA the corner with the computer in it. Then maybe peace and creativity could flow! Sigh. Someday! I’ll be sure to borrow inspiration from Gloria’s studio makeover here. Don’t you love the gradient drawers on that hutch? Take the grand tour on her blog A Little Paint. Thanks Gloria!

May 19, 2011 at 8:52 PMI love it so why do I feel so wrong asking WHY there is a big glass bowl on the FLOOR in the before? Even without kids… I know I would somehow step on it, cause it to break, get cut by it. *sigh* Am I starting to sound like my mother?

As for the bowl, its a silver wire bowl that is now a fruit bowl, in the kitchen, on the counter and away from feet 80% of the time. I find myself standing on counters a lot, I don’t know why. The only reason I can think of why it’s in the middle of the room is that it was on a side table that I moved to another room. Well, thats the best I can come up with.

The light is from overstock, I had my eye on it for a year before I could find a place for it. So glad I bought it!
