There is an outdoor mall nearby that for some reason was designed with only black and gray buildings, very square and stubby and close to the ground. We call it the communist Russia mall, it is such a bleak sight. Clearly this before stool came from communist Russia too. Have you ever seen such a depressing chair? Kata from Little House seemed to think so, and decided to make it an explosion of femininity instead. So much better!
