If I could, I would write a song called “The Power of Paint,” and it would be set to the tune of “The Power of Love” (by Huey Lewis, NOT Celine Dion, as if one of those is less dorky than the other), and I would sing it with fervor every time I saw a fabulous makeover, which would be everyday.
Look, here’s one now! From Linda from Burlap and Blue. The little teardrop shaped pulls are most appropriate, because it nearly makes me weep with its beauty. Hmm, maybe I should reconsider Celine.

I’ve been reading your blog for a few weeks now, and have gathered so much inspiration for the old furniture I’ve accumulated over the years.
Brilliant blog!

February 4, 2011 at 7:28 PMNo, no…it has to be “Power of Love” by Deeee Lite (better known for “Groove is in the Heart”). It has a better beat for shaking your paint can!
