Amber’s settee had a cute little figure and I’m not just talking about the one taking a siesta. Behind the faded velvet and crustified padding were some great lines — all this called for was a quick and easy reupholstering job. Ha! They are anything but. But it eventually turned out great, I love the contrast of the brown corduroy with the ladylike shape of the piece. Check it out on Amber’s blog, Webb World.

This particular before and after is outstanding. I didn’t think anything could make that settee not look DATED. It looks great!
