Swoony McSwoonerton! I’m in lusty love with this frame turned headboard. Isn’t it a genius idea? I post a lot of projects where I say to myself “Yep, I’m totally going to make that one.” Then I never do. But this one, yep. Totally. Going to make it!
Nadine at BlueDogz Design gives the full tutorial on her blog and makes it sound easy! Fabric is from my boyfriend, IKEA, total cost about $45! Most excellent job Nadine!

January 28, 2011 at 8:21 PMHey, it’s me, Nadine, the headboard lady (never thought I would refer to myself as that, but hey, it works)your comments are so amazingly sweet, and fun to read…1, so easy, and YES, you totally can do it. 2, my bed is a queen size, the frame is about 12 inches smaller than the bed, but it doesn’t seem to matter, right?…I was worried, but finally, no problem, it’s only 6″ per side right! 3, a friend had the frame and it was hanging around her place, I “took it off her hands” for her. 4, you can actually find mirrors like this pretty easily, I just saw one for $30 on our local Craigs list…go for it!!!
