Oona has a house exploding with character. It used to be pink, thus the name of her blog: Little Pink House. Then she tore a hole in the fabric of the internet and done painted it blue! I’m still trying to reconcile the two in my mind. “But it’s blue … and your blog says pink … I need a nap …”
Either/or, it still looks fantastic and I want it. And looking at it makes me also want to make gingerbread and merrily skip around in the yard. Don’t lie, you do too.

January 18, 2011 at 2:03 AMLittle Pink House is one of the blogs I follow. When she said she was painting her darling pink house blue, I wasn’t so sure about it. Even after she was finish, I wasn’t so sure about it. But the more I look at it the more I like it.

January 18, 2011 at 4:09 AMWhat a charming house! I love the stone work over the arched doors. I wonder what the deal is with the two front doors?
So, I have to say, I liked the quirky cuteness of the pink. The blue is great too, but I really liked the pink!

January 20, 2011 at 3:41 AMThanks for posting our house, Lindsey! I’m so excited people like it – picking a paint color was a month long headache and I wanted to kill our painter, so hearing positive feedback makes it all worth while.
Erin,
I have no idea why we have two front doors! The one on the right doesn’t even have an exterior knob on it, it only opens from the inside… goofy. And I wanted to re-paint it in pink, but the Mr. wasn’t having it. It REALLY needed to be painted.
