Within minutes of moving into this home, Micha had grabbed a fireplace poker and pried up that funky fake blue marble. Then it sat, unfinished, for 3 years. Then one night, on another crazy whim, she decided she’d had enough and painted it black and adorned it with butterflies.
“What was I thinking?” she asks. “Um, I’m not really sure…” I have to reply.
So, eventually, right before she and her husband moved out, they decided to fix it up for real this time, and now their renters get to enjoy the respectable looking fireplace it was always meant to be!
