The Frill is Gone

I think it’s kind of funny that Emily’s blog is called Frilly Details, because she gave this bathroom a hearty defrilling. Maybe it’s the old lady in me, but I kind of liked the wallpaper. But I agree, it was too much —much too much for this tiny space. Check her blog for more pics of the details, like the crown moulding and textured walls. Thanks Emily!

I love how the mirror, hardware etc didn’t change and looks totally new in the 2nd photo! Great makeover.

Wow, my parents have the same wallpaper in their front entryway. I love the textured walls though, so much that it’s making me reconsider my current wallpaper dilemma. Nice job!

I liked the wallpaper but I know how tired I get of things and she was probably just done with it.

I normally hate wallpaper, but I liked both the before and after pics. That’s what I call a win-win.

I like both as well. I think the after looks more modern, obviously since there aren’t huge red flowers anymore. lol

I’ve done that textured wall in my bathrooms before and then my parents did it in their entry way after seeing what I did.
