Jaesi’s Dining Room

Jaesi was sick and tired of eating her meals in a room that was sick and tired. The previous owners of her home had used the dining room as a TV room, complete with food stained carpet, spooky wallpaper and a ceiling fan.

I for one am not a fan of fans … placed directly over an eating space, that is. Have you seen how much crap can collect on a ceiling fan? I don’t want that swirling over my food, no thank you sir.

So she reclaimed the room with fresh paint, hickory flooring, simple lighting and opened it up by removing the french doors. Looks superb! My favorite: that yellow chair in the corner! Check out more on her blog Melessa.
