Handle it

This chair wasn’t lacking character, that’s for dang sure. All it was lacking was a little pretty. Kristie helped it out with some new paint and a double piping upholstery job which gave her fits, but came out looking fantastic!
Isn’t that handle thing on the top an interesting detail? Wonder what the heck that’s for? Check out more on her blog, Girlville.

I love old chairs painted in funky fun colors…I wish I had the guts to do it myself. I just trashpicked an old barstool, the seat is slatted wood, with a backrest, and it swivels. Pretty old but in excellent condition. I was going to just paint it white, but it would be so fun in a bright color…
