This old ice chest once belonged to the grandmother of Hanna of Drab to Fab. Hanna had loved it since she was a little girl and when she inherited it, it was in bad shape. She sanded it completely and dressed it up in distressed yellow and white. Check out more on her blog HERE. Thanks Hanna!

February 2, 2010 at 4:35 PMIt’s cute but it makes me sad. I like the before better (maybe with just some new stain). I’m old school though when it comes to certain things. We had one of these when I was growing up in great condition I can’t wait to inherit it from my father.

February 2, 2010 at 6:35 PMI agree with Kelly that it looked better before. I think a lot of the historical quality of the piece was lost beneath all the paint, cheerful though they are.
