Caned Chair

I think this chair redo is extra funky, one, because I’m having a crush on that fabric, and two, because the worn wood remained the same. Holly from Reid All About It (ha ha! Why can’t my last name be a play on words?) decided to keep it that way, to show that the chair has been used and loved. Sweet. As in “How sweet!” and also, “Dude, your chair is sweet!”

How about “All-en Good Fun” or “All-en good taste” “All-en or out”

    I’m stretching, I know.

I have that exact chair, still in the “before” state, and it’s even orange! I have it in storage, awaiting its transformation. It’s one of my favorite thrift store finds.

When I scrolled down, the fabric was a total surprise but it’s fun! She did a great job on the reupholstery. Love the blog name too – have to check it out.

Glad you guys like it! It is currently in our nursery paired with a little thrift store ottoman that I cleaned up and reupholstered (you can see it here: http://reidallaboutit.blogspot.com/2009/05/why-i-love-my-summer-vacation.html)
