The Brick Thing!

“Hello guest! Welcome to my home! Can I take your coat? Let me just set it here on my massive eyesore! You’ll be sure to remember it on your way out, because how could your eye be drawn anywhere else besides this gaping maw of wood paneling shrouded in what appears to be bricks stolen from a soot-incrusted chimney! Hey, where are you going?”
Lucky for Staci, she didn’t have to live with the brick-thing for long. See more of its beautiful transformation HERE.

Wonderful makeover! Love the beadboard. Now it looks like a charming built-in, rather than an outdoor fireplace.

This post had me bustin’ up laughing—then sighing with pleasure. From “massive eyesore” to simple elegance. Nicely done!

Brilliant! You would never know there was brick there (unless you ran into it).

aww, now I LIKE the brick thing. It would have been nice just painted white, no need for all that wood.
