Not only was this fence an eyesore, but it looks to me like a bit of a safety hazard! And I don’t know much about how they do things in Texas, but are the oil pipes along the fence there for form or function?
Either way, they had to go, and doesn’t it look lovely? Thanks to Alyssa from Swiss Avenue!

October 22, 2009 at 2:33 PMI’m in Texas, and my family visiting from California wondered the same thing about the metal posts….until they got to experience one of our storms. 75mph winds require a bit more reinforcement, you know what I’m sayin? š

October 22, 2009 at 2:48 PMI so wish we had the money to do this at our current rental home. The back fence probably once looked amazing but over the years the fence and the mini deck in the back yard are complete eye sores! If this was a home that I owned I would definitely redo it but since it’s a rental I’ll deal with it until finding my dream home.
