I’m giving you the after first, just because the before cracks me up!
Alicia from Thrifty and Chic Motif was swooning over some Ballard Design decor but was not so much in love with the hefty price tags. She particularly wanted this, but thought $78 for a trash can was crazy. (That is crazy! Who do you think you are Ballard Design? Don’t you know what people put in bathroom trash cans?)
So armed with a glue gun, she made her own version at the cost of free! I love it.

September 10, 2009 at 5:07 AMShe was VERY creative to do this! I am BRAND new to all of these types of projects and I am suddenly in love! I have a new passion and hobby and I just can’t get enough of all this. Your site is amazing. I’m so overwhelmed, I don’t even know where to start, lol. Your blog is fabulous. 🙂 I never had a creative mind before…I’ve always just seen something and thought the only way to have it was to buy it. I had no idea people made “better after” stuff! hehe…

March 22, 2010 at 5:24 AMHi, it’s me again. Don’t worry, I’m not a stalker…OK so I guess the way I’m obsessing over this blog I might be, in the best sort of way. Just wanted to let you know I added your “button” to my blog. You’re thinking “big deal, lots of people have done that”. Well, in my two years of blogging, I have NEVER added a button to my blog…until today!
