After her husband built her a new kitchen table (!), artist Tif Matthews and her 7 year old daughter repainted the old one. They now use it outdoors as a cheerful patio table. Hey Matthews family, do you think you could box up some of that crafty talent and send it my way?

Mailbox

I gave a mailbox a makeover once, but it was nothing like this. Mine consisted of repainting a faded black mailbox … black again. Don’t be jealous of my creative genius.

Is Megan’s mailbox not the most charming mailbox you’ve ever seen? Look at the detail! Look at the little “thank you!” sign! I bet the mailman smiles every time he delivers her mail.
But I do see that the red reflector also got a coat of paint … I hope no one runs over your adorable mailbox Megan! See her instructions HERE.

Jane from Finding Fabulous made just a little change here on her wall with black trim and an accent color, and turned it from hardly noticeable to a major focal point! Dramatic! I love the new lamp too!

Kitchen Cabinet Makeover

This before looks worse than it really was… I think the cabinets are mid-removal, not just always like that. But if they were always like that, I’m betting they are much happier now!

Bree and her hubby gave their kitchen a new look by repainting and distressing their cabinets and adding the cutest little knobs! Go HERE to see them up close. It makes a big difference, I didn’t even notice that the wall was red in the before! Thanks Bree!

I’m a bit late getting to it today… might have something to do with the fact that my lame washing machine blew a gasket and overflowed so much that water was pouring out of the light fixtures in the room below… which might have something to do with the fact that I was trying to wash a humongo comforter in there at the time. Ugh. But enough about me.
