No Mere Chandelier

Happy Friday! Get ready for some chandelier makeovers comin’ atcha!

I have amassed a healthy collection of chandelier before and afters, and what I love about them is they are ALL THE SAME chandelier! Even I have it! (Try to guess which is mine. Ok, I’ll tell you. It’s the first one!)

So, without further ado, here are the ladies:

Woof!

Some matte black and toile covered shades, courtesy of moi. (Ha ha, I linked to myself, so I wouldn’t feel left out!) Ok, moving on:

The two-tiered version, simple and chic, by The Mrs. at House it Going. (Gotta love that name!)

Miss Mustard Seed herself, went the extra mile by including faux wax-drippings made with a glue gun! Brilliant!

A fall-ified, oil-rubbed-bronze beauty from the Enchantresses 3. See more HERE.

I would redecorate my whole existence around this one. From Cookie.

I sincerely revere this premier chandelier! Very glamourous redo from Cathy at The Stylish House.
And now here are a couple that aren’t the same, but were too fun to resist!

Funky ribbon fun from David.

If I’m not mistaken, I believe this was done with nail polish! Of all things! Wowzers. From Theresa.

Have a great weekend friends!

Cheery TV Stand

This cheerful entertainment center redo would make me smile every time I looked at it! Craft Rookie Dani (No, I did not call her that, that’s the name of her blog, silly!) and her husband pried the top off of one of those big wall unit type entertainment centers and gave it a (few) coats of Red Delicious. The cute inserts were made with scrapbook paper! Simply Mahvalous!

One Dresser Two Ways

Let’s go on a little field trip over to DIY, and see them take a plain white dresser in two totally different directions.
The first leather-like look was inspired by the briefcase handles which were actually used as, um, handles; and the second dresser was also given some new handles and moulding to add some antique flair. I believe the original dresser came from my boyfriend, Ikea.

And let’s zoom in, shall we? Check out the fake stitching, made with a gold leaf pen (and a steady hand).

Brassy Decor No More

An oldie but a goodie from Centsational Girl. Behold the power of white spray paint! Every tacky little item in the before picture got a hearty dose of Heritage White and went from brass to class!
(Except for the little silver cup that simply got a good polish. WHY people send their old silver to Goodwill, I’ll never understand. Polish it people! It takes 10 seconds!)
