*Clonk* That was the sound of my jaw hitting the desk. Isn’t this patio redo simply amazing? I mean, just LOOK at that before! It looks like it was built by a reeeeeeally protective parent who didn’t want their kids exposed to things like “sunlight,” or “other kids,” or “real grass.” Maybe it was some kind of torture chamber? Anyhoo, the after more than makes up for it. Love the outdoor curtains!

Laurie from House to your HOME redid her basement on a $150 budget! I know there was a time when wood paneling was what all the hip kids were doing, but man, it really did make everything seem like a cave. I love the look of that wood paneling painted white! Such a dramatic change, like a carefree beachhouse! Or basement! Looks great, thanks Laurie!

Pink Dresser

Here’s another Craigslist Cinderella story. Janet got this dresser for free, and there was a reason why: “When we showed up to pick it up, the people’s home smelled like something died in it. They were also creepy so we just grabbed the dresser left and immediately went home and took showers. It smelled that bad. It sat in my garage for almost 6 months until I finally decided to paint it pink to match a bedspread in my guestroom.”

Karli’s Colors

What I love about Karli from Rocky Bella is her fabulous eye for color. She really has the knack for picking out the perfect color to deliver the most impact from of her furniture. Here is a nightstand she redid, and I am loving the deep turquoise with the gold hardware. Looks great!

And here is a hutch turned TV stand. The distressing is just perfect, and I think the green really makes those unique handles stand out. Simply mah–valous! Thanks Karli!
