Get your swoon on.

Get ready to swoon ya’ll.

Wowzers, right!? The chevrons, the cowhide, the jute, Bethany is a master at mixing layers and texture. And the table … can you even believe that is the same table? No lie! Bethany didn’t just add glass in place of the rectangles, she glammed it up with nail-head trim all up in there too! Take a closer look on her blog Dwellings by Devore.

Bathroom Lovin

I am having a big crush on this bathroom redo by Kristi. I love how she just painted the gold shower frame. I really love the backsplash and all the accessories. I also love how she cut down those gigantic mirrors and built the frames herself! And I LOVE-ITY LOVE the chandelier, I would never think to paint one green and wrap the arms in jute. AND, she pretty much did all of this work by herself! What inspiration.
Too many great things to name in here, but there is so much more to see on her blog Addicted 2 Decorating. I love that blog too! Man, I am feeling the luv today! Are you?!

Toy Story

Oh my gosh, this one is so random. But random is my middle name. No, it’s not. It’s Marie. Not very random at all. I bet 85% of you have the same middle name. Where am I going with this? I don’t know. But this makeover made me laugh, so here it is!

From Jessica at Will and Jess, who was fed up with Barbie’s bare lady bits scattered about her house. Seriously Barbie, have you no shame? So Jessica dressed her and her friends up with a simple Sharpie swimsuit! Ha! Pretty clever.

And here is another toy that was crying out for a makeover. Teri bought these blocks with the intention of using them in photoshoots, but was not impressed with their lame-o color scheme.
I love the final result, but I’m not sure how she did it… painted and then sanded paint off the raised parts? Dunno, but I love the effect. See more on her blog Teri’s Quilts and Crafts. Thanks ladies!

Pink Zebra

Nancy has a party planning business, but her work zone was snooze-city. That is acceptable if you are like, an insurance claims adjuster perhaps, but not a party planner! No sir! You get in there and you bust out the hot pink and zebra stripes, so you can properly plan some PARTIES, that is what you do!
Lots more pics over at A to Zebra Celebrations!

Mirror Mirrored

Sarah’s little office nook was certainly super cute before. No peeling wallpaper, no spider’s nests, why, you could call it a respectable before! But the desk wasn’t cutting it for her. Too white and plain. She wanted a high-end mirrored look on the desk instead.
So she busted out the paint, sandpaper and … car wax? That must explain the brilliant shine! Check out the how-to on her blog Three Boys. Thanks Sarah!
