This old kitchen is so familiar to me. It is basically the same kitchen in every home of every friend I ever had growing up. I can fondly recall hanging out in my one-strapped overalls (I was really, really cool) with my friends, chatting with their moms, ducking under those low-lying cabinets to eat lunch and sneak popsicles.
Well, I’m no longer wearing those overalls and neither should your kitchen. You know what I mean. Taunnie wanted to overhaul this kitchen from the day one, so she went at it with green and cream paint as soon as she could. That is not true. First she painted the whole thing cream. Then she didn’t like it. So she painted the bottom cabinets olive. Then she liked it ok. Then she painted the frames around the cabinet doors olive and fell in love!
