Gorgeous shiny kitchen.

Good gravy, there is so much to love about this kitchen, let’s just get right to it.

Navy lower cabinets?  YES.
Coral side door?  Double YES.
Striped paint treatment on the ceiling?  Hmm, let me think. YES.
Hand-painted faux marble counters and backsplash?  So much YES it hurts.
DIY pendants made with retro spaghetti lights over the table? YES SO HARD!

I think it’s safe to say I like it.  What do you think?  What’s your favorite part? Check out all the details of this fabulous kitchen from Danika on her blog Gorgeous Shiny Things.

i love the After, it’s fantastic. But i have to say, i would be pretty happy with the Before kitchen at this point.

I agree with Andrea – is there such thing as a before before? Love the 50’s Diner Meets Farmhouse! And of course she had me at the initial “H”. LOL

Wow! I love this! The navy lower cabinets with the white uppers that blend into the wall give it such an open look without giving up those upper cabinets. I’m with all your yes’s and I’d add that I love the bright pop of color the curtains bring. It’s amazing that this kitchen is so colorful without any color on the walls. Great job!!

I’m suddenly wondering why everyone doesn’t have stripes painted across their ceiling. Brilliant!

Either kitchen is great, but the After is terrific. I love the navy cabinets, the coke machine, and the stripes on the the ceiling.

So bright and cheerful. Paint has such amazing transformative qualities. The white cabinetry brightens everything up so much and the ceiling detail is unexpected and very cool!
