I almost feel bad sharing this dreamy outdoor makeover today, being that half of the country is experiencing some kind of hellish perma-freeze. I feel your pain, guys. I had to put on socks today. Brr! But seriously, I hope you are staying safe and warm and fully stocked with toiletries, because there is no way I’d be venturing outdoors in that mess until mid-July.
So snuggle up and enjoy this exterior makeover from Lindsay and her husband Drew. They added many updates here, but the showstopper has to be that porch. (Hang on in a second and you’ll see why).
Let’s get a closer look. This picture was somewhere in-between phases, when the house had been painted gray and the miniscule iron railing had been removed, but the heavily vented aluminum under the soffit remained.
But now …
Yowza, right?! Look at all that delicious moulding! From the pillars, to the beefier trim around the windows, to of course, that amazing ceiling. Just amazing. One more time: AMAZING. This ceiling could win the Olympics of porch ceilings.
