Sugar and Spice and Little Girl Spaces
Mar 8, 2013
Need inspiration for a little girl's bedroom? Then you have come to the right place! And if you don't have a little girls' bedroom to makeover, wellll, you might be so inspired by the time you get to the end of this post that you'll go out and find one anyway. You've been warned.
First, Cami does it again! You may recall the other child's bedroom she redid, especially when you see the plank treatment on the wall. Only this time, she went vertical instead of horizontal, and spaced the plywood planks out a few inches to save on costs.
In order to maximize space in this 10'x12' room, she had her husband build a set of custom beds to fit the smaller-than-twin-larger-than-crib mattress that are available at IKEA. You simply must check out her blog Tidbits for all the details.
I love how it's just so sweet and subtly circus-y, and not all like HERE COME THE CLOWNS YA'LL!!! THE CIRCUS IS IN TOWWWWN!!!! You know? Perfect amount of circusness.
Even the elephant got in on the circus action. Ha! Cute!

oh my. all three are just amazing! I think the second is my favorite but it is almost impossible to choose!
Thanks so much for featuring my daughter's circus room! Love the other spaces too. Keep up the good work!
aaahh! The circus room is so cute. :) And is the elephant Dumbo's mama?
Thanks so much for featuring Eva's bedroom! It was such a great surprise when I heard about it. :) What's funny is... Cami's oldest daughter's room was my inspiration for Eva's. Isn't Cami fantastic?! Have you seen her mudroom yet? OMG! It is phenomenal!
Hello there!
Recently I've been looking to buy some rugs.. does anybody know any sites to check out?
Rugman.com seemed pretty good.. anyone ever used it?
On the circus room, is that an old art deco vanity made into a bench? I never thought about that..we have one with a broken mirror and now I know what I want to do with it!
