Kid n’ Play

I’ll tell you one thing.  I’m a magazine lover.  But I’m not a magazine hoarder.  That was two things.  Anyway, when I’m done with a magazine, I’m done.  It bums me out to keep them around for too long.  Like yesterday I was at the dentist’s office, and I was reading a People magazine from December 2012, and it was talking about Taylor Swift and her ‘new’ romance with Harry Styles, and I just wanted to warn her right then and there that nothing good would come of it!  Stop, Taylor!  Just stay away!

Oh my gosh, I have issues.

Hahaha, issues?!  Get it!?

Wow.  I think I need a vacation.  But let me tell you one more thing about magazines. Have you heard of the Zinio app?  It’s my absolute favorite.  If your
local library has an agreement with them like mine does, you can
download all kinds of magazines for free!  You should check it out. I’m not getting paid to say that.  I just love magazines.  And could probably use a day out of the house.

So here’s the point: I have no need for a clunky magazine rack taking up all kinds of space, like this one that Hannah at Bonne Nouvelle found. She certainly wasn’t planning on storing magazines either, so what did she do with it instead?  Made a baby doll crib for her daughter! Not to mention sewing the tiny baby bedding too. It’s perfect.

And before I head out to enjoy what’s left of our spring break, here’s one more kiddie makeover from Amy: just the cutest little pair of kid-kitchen/nightstands you’ve ever seen.  It’s so happy and sweet, and fully stocked with fun details. See them all on her blog A Little Something Lovely.

  5. Hi Lindsey! I just downloaded Zinio. Since you live in the Valley of the Sun, I’m guessing that you use the same digital library as me! How do you download free magazines? That has my name written ALL over it!

    Thanks!

  7. Awesome baby home. There are some general rules that apply to all furniture purchases, furniture stores in tyler tx but sometimes you have to consider more specific parameters.

  8. Impressive! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  9. Love that play kitchen! Funny, I just posted my play kitchen on your FB page! I had found mine for $2.50 at the thrift store, and make that baby over! But I have to say, this one takes the cake! CUTE!

P.S. Just noticed your comment above the comment section above this comment box. Have you ever considered moving to WordPress? They have a kick-a$$ plugin that would allow you to block all that spam, and would still allow people to comment anonymously. Just something to consider. I moved over back in October, and I LOVE WordPress!

  10. That is big time clever!

  11. I LOVE that dolly bed. So simple, so clever. I’m on the hunt for a magazine rack now. (It just never ends!)

  12. Thanks for sharing Lindsey! I love all the play kitchens.
