I may be late to the party, oh ok, I KNOW I'm late to the party, but I'm really warming up to gold. Maybe it took me so long to jump on this train because I've been told by well-meaning makeup-counter ladies and jewelry sales-people for my entire life that "You're a COOLER color, dear. Gold is not your friend." Well, phooey. Because I love this cool-colored hutch with gold accents and we belong together and no one can tell me otherwise.

I love it. I would never think to use gold accents on that color. But it looks very sharp!
I like! I'm a "cool" girl too, & usually wear sterling silver instead of gold. But I still love gold & especially like the way you combined both metallics in this piece!

Well I can't help but notice that the hutch is a cool color...grey (or is it gray?? As the officianado of the color, i would love for you to tell me!) Anyway, it looks very lovely adorned with gold...I bet you would too!
I'm a little bummed about the lost glass.......it was precious! But I love the redo color.
