Cottage Geez!

 Dec 11, 2012

Blah blah blah, something mildly humorous, ok, now check out this amazing dining room makeover from Laurel at SoPo Cottage, because I can't wait to share it!  So simple and stunning, I'm at a loss for words.  Except for ooh.  And ahhh.  And grunts of approval.

Here's the view from the side, where she knocked out the walls and turned two dinky rooms into one large and lovely living space. I want to go to there.

gorgeous! and major kudos for painting what they left of the wood paneling. my entire kitchen is made out of that stuff (cabinets included) and it was HELL to paint. excellent job!

Wow!! When I saw the before, I couldn't help but think how ugly and dated it was. The after pix are stunning, and I want to live there! Great job!!!

There's absolutely no comparison to how good it looks after the makeover. I have painted that wood panelling and know how time-consuming and difficult it can be (especially with a hundred nail holes) but leaving it added an interesting texture to the walls. Very nicely done!
