Christmas is just around the corner, so here's some inspiration for that little girl (or guy) on your list. Better After reader Kelly made this adorable kid kitchen out of an old entertainment center which had the perfect fridge/sink/stove setup.
I love the modern twist she added by using pre-cut plexiglass for the stove top! First she cut a circle out of the film on the plexiglass and painted it red. After it dried, she removed the film, painted the rest black and flipped it over for a glossy smooth stove top that won't scratch. You guys. All kinds of smartness you have.

I agree with Ruth - this is THE BEST kid kitchen makeover I've seen. The cooktop concept alone is genius!!

Wish I were amazing like Kelly. I paid a bunch of money for one. All my girls wanted was to dismantle it. Pth. Kelly you should offer these on etsy for about a billion $.
