Technically, Jae’s old office had everything an office needs. Desk. Chair. Lamp. File cabinet. Wastepaper bin. And a futon for when you inevitably fell asleep from an attack of the hum-drums.
But now it packs a posh punch! Just a smidge or two of changes here really made all the difference: new chairs, bright red lamps, and light gray coat of paint. Love how the curtains hung at the ceiling make the room feel so much larger too. And now the futon can go back to doing what futons were always meant to do: reminding guests not to overstay their welcome.
She must have had so much energy from her revived office that she decided to make over her laundry room too. Can you guess what the light fixture is made with? I’ll give you a hint: clothespins!

If you love before and after posts keep your eye out on my blog. I have a lot of before and after projects that I will be posting. Hope you enjoy!

September 25, 2012 at 11:32 PMWow! Really nice job – love both rooms. They must be a joy to work in now. You’ve inspired me to go take a look at my laundry area – which is in the corner of a large work/storage room. Maybe if I just start with that corner …
