Match and Mix!
Jul 9, 2012
So Friday, I posted Christine's KitchenAid that she had repainted to match her kitchen. Great idea. If I could find my stinking camera, I'd show you my repainted KitchenAid too.
BUT, get this: How about repainting your kitchen to match your KitchenAid? No, I'm serious. Sure, this isn't a WHOLE kitchen, but Better After reader Elizabeth is renting and barely had any room to work with as it was. So she found this puketastic green buffet for $25 on Craigslist to use as an island and painted it to match her pretty pink appliance. Then she added a countertop made from an old door! She's crafty, that one.

You really aren't joking with the "Better After"!! This is such a perfect example of what a little paint and details can do to change something boring and outdated into something beautiful. Love BETTER AFTER Lindsay!!!
This is just too pretty - my daughter just painted her apartment kitchen pink!!!
Oh my goodness....ADORABLE!
Love love love that it matches the mixer!
You wait. In 3 years that green will be the new turquoise and she'll be looking skyward yelling "WHY!!!!!!!"
Gorgeous!! That old door is beautiful -- Would love to see the in process pics!
Give that girl two thumbs up! I am so impressed when people see the potential in things people throw away.
How creative and how very gorgeous!!!
I am so hooked on paint. What a wonderful new life that sideboard will have now. Love the pink mixer too.
