Where's the beef?

 Apr 30, 2012

I'm not confused!  This really is the before. And no, Karianne's big dining room makeover was not taking down the Christmas decorations.  Look closer ... do you see it?   I'll give you a hint: beefy window mouldings!  I guess that was more than a hint.  But yes, doesn't it make SUCH a dramatic change?  Now when you look back at the before, I bet you are all like, "Woah, those windows totally need beefier mouldings."  And here's the best part, it cost a grand total of $22!  I know.  I'm off to Home Depot right now too.

See the whole story on Karianne's blog Thistlewood Farm.

I know I can't be the only one to wish that her room looked as good as the before-but you're right, the after is even better!

What?! That's fabulous! And for $22? I never would have thought of that.

Looks fabulous! I love how a tweak can totally change the look of a room.

Saw it right away! What a great change Looks much more open and airy especially with the lighter weight drapes. Extending the window molding is not something that would have ever occurred to me, but what a great idea!

I can't believe she did that for just $22 bucks. So stealing her idea for my next house!
