How to Repair a Vampire Lair

How to Repair a Vampire Lair
How, pray tell, is this before bedroom so impossibly dark!?  Obviously this picture was taken during daylight hours, so why is all that natural light out there resisting the urge to stream magically in here? It’s not for a lack of windows, that’s for sure.  I guess I’ll blame that strange sherbert-colored wall for its evil light-sucking powers.  Now let’s cut to the after: woo-hooligans!  THAT is more like it.  Notice the striped wall behind the bed for an extra-awesome kick in the pants?  Fab.  See lots more of Vel’s master bedroom on her blog Buhay at Bahay.

It’s like a completely different room! I had to recheck by finding the windows to make sure it wasn’t haha.

Like most people I come here to enjoy the cheap thrill of seeing re-do’s on a daily basis… but this is the first time I’ve wanted the ‘after’ so bad it hurts. Nice job!!
