Keeping it Cool

 Nov 7, 2011

This one is a little tricky.  You might have to look closely to see what has been changed here, but once you do, you will say "Dang!  That DOES look better after!"   It took me a while to see it, but that could be because of my Monday morning brain, which isn't fully functional until about Wednesday afternoon.  Seriously, if you know of some all-natural remedy for sluggishness, hit me with it.  And don't say early-morning running.  Nothing will make me want to get out of bed less!

It took me a few tries to figure out what was different but it really did look better after...I just wasn't sure why. Funny how little things can make such a big difference.

Is the AC still functional? I need something like this to cover mine in my living room but don't want to give up the cool air.

I was waiting for a cool transformation of the lamp. Well, the AC unit cover looks awesome, but the lamp needs some help now!

hey lindsey- thanks for posting my ac cover diy! and MsDaphne yes, it is still a functioning ac however i live in los angeles so i don't need to use it very often so i can keep it covered most of the time. and as for my lamp haters... i totally dig how kitschy it is! i think it is so strange yet wonderful....
