I could probably devote an entire week to pallet makeover projects. Who knew they were so versatile? Outside of the DIY world, pallets are considered little more than leftover junk or firewood, which is good news for us, because you can easily find them for free. I know this is true, because there are always piles of pallets listed in the free section of Phoenix's craigslist, home of the most worthless crap on the planet. Go grab some now before the rest of the world catches on!

Please do devote a week to pallets! I've found some really neat stuff http://www.tumblr.com/tumblelog/my-future-house from ottomans to day beds to chairs! and it'd be even better to see before/after pictures. I love re-doing furniture and I'd probably make a business of it if I had time, and pallets are a perfect free resource!
I would never have thought of that idea, but if the supplies are free, it's a great way to recycle while getting something for yourself.

aha, I've seen that swing on pinterest! I have built many things out of pallets and love them! There is a trucking company near here that told us to take all we want, so we pick up a dozen or so each visit to town. I'm currently working on a deck!
