In the Mood for Mod

 Jun 13, 2011

Well hello there!  I am back in business after a lovely vacation. I am sunburned, buried in laundry and still finding sand in places sand should not be. And happy to be home, blogging it up for you!

So here's a great way to start the week, a fabulous mod dresser redo from Stephanie at Birdhouse Family.   I've featured a makeover very similar to this on the plain IKEA dresser, and was even inspired to do the same thing to mine, but I ended up just painting it all white. So LAZY!  Who wants to paint AND stain AND look for cool drawer pulls too?  Well, actually, I do.  But just not today.

Luckily Stephanie has the follow-through that I lack and sent this fantastic (and finished) piece our way.  Thanks Stephanie!

Hope you had a wonderful trip!! Glad you're back. You are my daily read :)

Love this dresser. Everything about it. The color, the shape, and the pulls. Great makeover!

This Stephanie must be a talented girl. The name says it all ;)
This is one of my favorite transformations ever of a mid-century dresser! Simple yet looks expensive!! I am inspired to say the least

The pulls really make it!

WOW! Normally, I can see the potential in things, but this would never have caught my eye unless it was nearly free. Those circular handles completely transform it. I love it!
