Glamp

 Apr 4, 2011

Hello! It is Monday, in case you didn't know. In case you just stumbled out of bed and are one of those people that can't get started without a hefty dose of caffeine every morning. Well, sit up and take notice honeybuns, because this makeover was meant for you.

It's Coke! It's the most glamorous lamp (or maybe the only lamp) you've ever seen made out of plastic Coke bottles! Fourteen of them to be exact, plus a little duct tape and spray paint. If you happen to be a Coke fiend, you probably have all that stuff laying around your garage! So cool.

From Katie at Matsutake, head over there and give her a virtual high-five!

What's awesome is that it looks like glass, but when your kids knock it over (that's where my mind has to go first) it won't break like glass! Nice work!

Oh the awesomeness!! This is unbelievably stunning, creative, original and so many other things! This would cost about $500 where I live.

How did she ever come up with this idea? Too cool for words...and she used the old shade to make her own drum shade!! Oh, how the mind works{not mine, of course}.
