From French to Bench

So, maybe you've seen this before, this post from Lexi at Paper Flower Drive is a little old. (Only in the blog world can something from 8 months ago be considered "old." (Well, maybe in the food service world.)
In any case, it is still fantastic and gives me faith that there really is hope for the hopeless, the hopeless in this case being this beaten, battered and flop-sweat stained sofa. Now it is a beautiful and breezy bench. I still can't believe the difference, I've scrolled back and forth about 20 times!

Amazing-considering her 7th grade shop skills and limited working space. Not sure how she knew it was a wood frame covered over...would love to do this, but I get cautious with all the bed bug talk hauling free Craigslist finds home...yuk!

I did have an extremely limited space to work in, I had no idea what was under there when I was gutting it, and yes we are still 100% bedbug free :) Thankyou for all the sweet comments everyone.
