Holly How-to

 Jan 25, 2011

How did Holly turn a humdrum living room into a catalog worthy spread? We'll never know. She did this before she had a blog! There's no step-by-step documentation to prove that she didn't just win the grand prize in a redecorating contest or rob a Pottery Barn truck. Guess we'll have to take her word for it. Great job Holly!

Check out her blog Chic and Lovely to see what a difference just adding the mirrors (that I covet) made.

I like the before and after! Although I think the after is warmer and more cozy!

I can't believe what a difference! It is absolutely gorgeous! I am drooling. I love that she hung 4 mirrors, not 2. The mirrors look like real windows.

Thanks for the sweet words Lindsey!! I can promise you that I didn't win a redecorating contest OR rob a pottery barn truck (although I'd like to!!). It was all done through hard work, trial, and error :)

It turned out so nice. It's amazing how rich that leather furniture looks with the new warm paint color on the walls. Totally different feel. So cozy.

The space does look so much warmer! Very clever with the mirrors too.

The After room is STUNNING! I thoroughly enjoy all your after rooms.

Do you do consultations from photographs?
