Blue or pink, what do you think?

Oona has a house exploding with character. It used to be pink, thus the name of her blog: Little Pink House. Then she tore a hole in the fabric of the internet and done painted it blue! I’m still trying to reconcile the two in my mind. “But it’s blue … and your blog says pink … I need a nap …”

Either/or, it still looks fantastic and I want it. And looking at it makes me also want to make gingerbread and merrily skip around in the yard. Don’t lie, you do too.

  5. Little Pink House is one of the blogs I follow. When she said she was painting her darling pink house blue, I wasn’t so sure about it. Even after she was finish, I wasn’t so sure about it. But the more I look at it the more I like it.

  6. This house is adorable, love it!

  7. LOVE it!!! When you were saying blue I was thinking blah but WOW – that’s an AWESOME blue…perfect!!!

  8. The blue is just gorgeous. A very good choice. I like it much better than the pink.

  9. This house is so charming and quaint…makes me think of Hansel and Gretel…and what ever the color…I just love it!

  10. What a charming house! I love the stone work over the arched doors. I wonder what the deal is with the two front doors?

So, I have to say, I liked the quirky cuteness of the pink. The blue is great too, but I really liked the pink!

  11. That blue really makes the the house pop! The stonework stands out so much better now.

  12. The blue rocks! And the house has so much character. And yes, now I could go a gingerbread man… Mmmm…
    Megs 🙂

  13. I’m swooning over the arched doors! Think I might need to lie down now.

  14. Lovin the blue! I really enjoy your posts. Wish I could find some neat stuff to paint or change.

  15. The blue really makes it pop! She made a good choice.

  16. Thanks for posting our house, Lindsey! I’m so excited people like it – picking a paint color was a month long headache and I wanted to kill our painter, so hearing positive feedback makes it all worth while.

I have no idea why we have two front doors! The one on the right doesn’t even have an exterior knob on it, it only opens from the inside… goofy. And I wanted to re-paint it in pink, but the Mr. wasn’t having it. It REALLY needed to be painted.

  17. Blue 🙂 All the way.
