Kelly from Tearing up Houses had a clunky, cornered kitchen. I don't think I've ever seen a more bizzare layout! It would appear that the fridge is in another room entirely. Nothing that knocking down a few walls can't fix! I love how it turned out and there are a gazillion more pics of all the details over on her blog! Check it out!

Great transformation! I actually had a little kitchen with a layout like that once...so bizarre.
That kitchen is amazing. Makes you think you can do it yourself in your own home!
This has to be the first time I saw a kitchen redo and OUT LOUS said "OoooOOOooooOOoooo!" Love it! It is AMAZING!
Did you consult with an engineer? I'm considering it, but I think i have a load bearing wall. UGH!
