Fresh for Fall

 Oct 19, 2010

Here's a sweet little redo from Korrie at Red Hen Home. This is one rare instance where I wholeheartedly agree with the changes made in the hardware. The new pulls make it look like a more sturdy, substantial piece, wouldn't you say? She also did this thing a favor by losing the glossy finish for a two-toned, distressed look. Love that, and I also love the little fall display in the numbered containers on top! Thanks for sharing Korrie!

Great makeover! I love the contrast between the top and bottom!

Very dramatic difference! Doesn't evenly remotely look like the same piece. I think contrasting the top and changing the hardware really gave it a custom look.

i think its absolutely beautiful transformation, you have done a great job, its never easy to handle such things and wood is delicate when it comes to redoing it, you have used the perfect pull outs for it and make it a pleasure to use, very beautiful and functional looking sideboard
