Pretty in Pink... and Lime

I love how this old mismatched desk and chair look like they've always belonged together thanks to some coordinating paint and fabric. Alynn from Our Padded Room (ha ha, I hear ya) found the desk for $40, and the chair for a whopping $3 and prettied them up for her little girl. The colors are great, now I'm craving sherbet!

I'm loving the pink & lime! I have to say that your blog has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone {the stores!} and seek out my inner designer. In a sea of black and white it is fun to see the occasional pop of color and this bright pink is something I'm not seeing everywhere. Love it.
