Little John’s Nursery

Jen from lil Mop Top transformed this hodge-podge guest room into a lovely nursery for her new arrival, baby John.  First step was to remove that ridiculously high chair rail, or whatever you call a chair rail that is six feet away from the floor.  The new wainscoting really makes the room seem so much cozier, I would have felt like I was sleeping in an aquarium with that weirdo chair rail in the old room.
Also, I love the new drapes, they add a great sophisticated touch.  Thanks for sharing Jen!  More to see on her blog HERE.

  1. lol, it’s not a chair rail, it’s a picture rail. You can hang hooks over the rail for pictures, and therefore not nail holes in the sheetrock. No holes when you want to move it.

  2. Very cute nursery. Its amazing what draperies achieve!
