High Fashion Headboard

Today I thought I'd step back in time and show you a couple of my favorite projects from Better After's earlier days, just for fun, (and because I seriously need to catch up behind the scenes! Don't think I'm ignoring you if you've submitted something and I haven't emailed back yet, I'm a-working on it!).
Also, I'm headed to the Rose Bowl flea market this weekend! WHOOO! Anyone else going to be there? It would be so fun to bump into you!
And now, from August, 2009, I present: High Fashion Headboard.
Love this one! Today's first before and after comes courtesy of the talented Amy, who turned this terrifying headboard into the chic centerpiece of a bedroom redo. It really does look like something you'd pay a ton of money for! I especially love the high gloss, black lacquer look and how it pops against that great orange wall.

I love the shape of that headboard. I also like how they took a very tradition piece and made it looks modern. Well done!
looks great!...but i don't think it's even the same headboard, the scalloped edge in the "before" picture doesn't match the "after" picture if you look closely.
I fully expect you to come back with lots of treasures to share with us.
