Sure, you could add some cute curtains or something, but if you really want to doll up a window, simply add a window seat! Ok, so it's not that simple, but wow, does it ever make a big difference here. Check out Posh Pieces to see how Shannon and her husband built this themselves.

That is very impressive. There is a window in the kitchen of our new house where I want to build a window seat. I'm gonna have to check out their site to see how they built it.
What a perfect spot to read a book. I'd love to see it covered with a nice cushion and some pillows to complete the look.
