Grecian Bathroom

 Feb 1, 2010

Mikael had a clear vision in mind when she redid her powder room. She wanted the vibe to echo a seaside village in Greece, with vibrant blues and crisp whites. I'd say she definitely pulled it off. Looks great! Check out her blog Starter Home to Dream home for a detailed post on how she and her husband did this project themselves, everything from hanging beadboard and moulding to framing the artwork. Thanks Mikael!

I wonder how hard it is to put in the wainscotting (is that the word?). It's so effective. I've been needing a fix for my own bathroom...will have to wait until I do the kitchen late spring. :)

Blue and white is such a classic combination. I'd never get tired of this powder room.
