Ah, first Monday of the first year in a new decade! Why not start off with a bang? Here are a few great redos
from Nathan over at one of my favorite blogs, Laurel Street
Nathan is in the process of redoing every last bit of a super cool New Orleans cottage. Here he took this uninspiring guest room and gave it a whole new identity. No longer a cramped, hodgepodge of whatever wasn’t good enough to go in the rest of the house, he made it a place I want to go hang out!
I also love the brave paint choice, I think it really gives the room big time character and depth. There’s lots more to see of this room HERE.
And, check out his kitchen-on-a-budget:
This was the result of an “in-between” redo: not yet able to swing a full-blown kitchen renovation, yet not willing to live with it in its before state, Nathan replaced the old cheesy plastic cabinet pulls with sleek modern hardware and added an inexpensive slate backsplash. Such a little change goes a looong way. See the full post HERE.
Also, did you notice the “new” stainless steel fridge?
Stainless steel paint! Goodbye to the hulking black mass hogging up all the eye-space in this kitchen and hello to a shiny new fridge. Check out what he has to say on the subject, HERE.
