Julie's Hutch

 Jan 5, 2010

Doesn't matter how many china hutch redos I've seen, I still love them all like they were my own. Here's a great one by Julie at The Richest of Fare. The previous home-owners had left this hutch behind. So she gave it a new paint job and for an extra touch, removed the doors for a nice open look.

A couple of years ago, if I had inherited something like this, I wouldn't have DREAMED of keeping it! And now I cruise Craigslist all the time looking for one of my own! Thanks Julie!

And she didn't even have to go pick it up and haul it home! I'm kind of jealous of the fact it was LEFT there. Man! :)

It looks fabulous.

Looks great. Amazing what a little paint, creativity and elbow grease will do!

Well crap. I had a hutch very similar to that one, but could never figure out what to do with it and sold it on Craig's list. Kudos Julie!

I love that transformation. You just can never go wrong with black paint (in my humble opinion)
