Island Takeaway

 Jan 5, 2010

The Fabric Floozie (oooh, scandalous!) had a nice, spacious kitchen. Maybe even too spacious? What it needed was an island. But where can a kitchen island be found on the cheap? How about on the side of the road, for free?

Yep, she took this discarded little cabinet and added a substantial chopping board top, new knobs and a fresh coat of paint to make the perfect kitchen island for her space. And don't forget that cute little curtain, they don't call her the Fabric Floozie for nothing!

 Check it out HERE.

What a clever and inexpensive idea for an island! Love the addition of the little curtain too...

I just LOVE this! I wish I had room for a sweet island like this.

Roadside finds are the best! I am always so amazed what people leave. What a great piece.
